Stern Preserve Trail Work
You're invited to join the Stanbery Park Conservation Team as we work to eradicate invasive plant species from our neighbors at Stern Preserve! 💪🌻
This month are are continuing removal of Amur Honeysuckle as we get closer to connecting with Stanbery Park! We are going to try for a Friday weekday event this time, bring out the kids for this family-friendly project. 👨👩👧👦
Stern Preserve is located off Elstun Road, at the bottom of the hill by where the new UDF is being constructed. It is a key piece of land that abuts Stanbery Park and acts as a vital link between Mt. Washington and the Little Miami Scenic Trail. 🚶
We will provide snacks, water, tools and instruction. You will provide good working shoes and your time. Together with the Hillside Trust- the owners of the Stern Preserve- we will prepare the land for public use. We hope to see you at the Preserve! 🙏
