STEM Day Event at Penn State Lehigh Valley Campus for students Grades 6 - 8, Sat Feb 3rd 8:30am - 12
Penn State Lehigh Valley is hosting a “STEM-tastic Day” on Feb 3 where we invite local middle school students (grades 6 – 8) to visit our campus for STEM related workshops and hand on activities with the goal to spark an interest among students in STEM majors and STEM careers. The day will be structured where students can select from a menu of hands-on discovery-based activities which are intended to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, programmers, and mathematicians.
The workshops will run from 9am to 12noon, with registration starting at 8:30am.
In addition to the free workshops, there are free gifts for the students and STEM kit raffle prizes!
