STEAM’D Fest 2025 West Valley College’s Annual STEAM+Design Event

West Valley College is holding its fourth annual Art and Design graduation expo, and the second interdisciplinary graduation expo called STEAM’D Fest, where “Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and Design” reimagine collaboration. Shannon Mirabelli-Lopez, Art and Design Dean, and Mel Vaughn, Science and Math Dean, have once again joined forces in programming this year’s STEAM’D Fest. “STEAM’D Fest represents a step towards fostering future integration across traditionally divided academic disciplines,” said Dean Mirabelli-Lopez. “We want to build a culture where all disciplines recognize their connections and contributions to problem-solving in this modern world with an emphasis on user experience and human-centric approaches.” This year’s event highlights include Content Magazine Pick-Up Party 17.3 Perform, Student Art Sale, Boulevard Expressions: An Exhibition of Lowrider Culture, Annual Fashion Show, and a live performance by Ambervox. STEAM’D Fest 2025 Thursday, May 15 The WVC Film Club is hosting a student-led Film Festival featuring shorts by West Valley students and club members as well as a few of our best alumni films "from the archives."
