State Parks Community Climate Night
The natural ecosystems protected within California’s State Parks store huge amounts of carbon, making them one of the world’s most powerful tools in adapting to climate change, yet the intensity of recent fires, floods, and human activities have left many uncertain about the future of our protected landscapes. We invite you to join State Park scientists, planners, partners, and naturalists for an evening of short presentations and conversations about the climate threats facing Santa Cruz area State Parks and the ways we can work together on solutions for a resilient future. The event will include lecture-style talks, guided coastal strolls, and light refreshments. Event and parking is free.
