Stacking Rings
Transform wire into sparkling rings you'll wear every day. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and leave with a custom ring set made entirely by you.
In this 3-hour workshop, you will be guided through the steps of basic ring making. Class sizes are kept small to ensure hands-on instruction from an experienced metalsmith. Each student will create their own set of three sterling silver stacking rings from start to finish, with several patterns and textures to choose from. Skills covered:
Sizing, measuring and filing
Forming a ring band
Soldering
Shaping and texturing
Refining and polishing
*All materials and the use of tools is included.
*For safety reasons, I kindly ask that students be age 18+, or 16+ with a participating parent/guardian.
*Please bring eye magnification if needed. We will be working with small items that can be difficult for some to see clearly.
