St. Paul Square Dinner Club with Chef Hugh Daschbach


We are thrilled to invite you to an authentic, elevated Louisiana-style feast from Chef Hugh Daschbach. Join us on Thursday, March 27, at one San Antonio's most exciting venues, Cuba 1918 (on the near westside about 10 mins from downtown), for our next St. Paul Square Dinner Club event, curated by renowned food writer Kimberly Suta. Hugh Daschbach is a Louisiana native and his food celebrates the rich Cajun and Creole influences of his home state. He earned the Critic’s Choice Award at the 2018 Hot Wells Harvest and regularly participates in competitions and pop-ups within the San Antonio community, including a win (2022) and a runner up finish (2025) in the Annual Chili Cookoff at Tony’s Siesta. Hugh served on the opening team of Hotel Emma as their Culinary Concierge and is an avid supporter of the growing San Antonio food & beverage community. The six-course menu for this special evening will showcase Hugh’s Louisiana roots with a modern twist. Bon appetit and laissez les bon temps roulez!
