St. Patrick's Day Wee Irish Mile
A new tradition is coming to the Indianapolis St. Patrick’s Day parade in 2023. For the first time, the Indianapolis Athletic Club Foundation will be hosting the Wee Irish Mile prior to the start of the parade.
The mile-long run and walk will take place along the parade route. It will be a celebratory run and walk starting at the intersection of North and Pennsylvania Streets and ending just past North and Meridian Streets. Participants are asked to don their best Irish garb including kilts and leprechaun outfits.
The all-ages event is set for 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 17. Registration is $25 per person at IndyStPats.com. All proceeds are granted out to youth athletic programs in need.
