The St. Louis stamp Exposition (Expo) is the regions largest annual World Series of Philately stamp show. This year's show celebrates the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the American revolution. The show boasts 37 dealers from around the US selling all things philatelic; stamps, covers, postal history, post cards, ephemera, and anything else to do with the mail. The USPS will have a booth selling the current issues of US stamps. The show will have 155 frames of exhibits on display and in competition for the opportunity to enter into the Champion of Champions competition at the National show in August. There are three convening societies holding their annual meetings. There will be several seminars on various topics throughout the weekend. Beginning stamp collectors will have a room dedicated to them to educate themselves about the various aspects of the hobby. The show will offer a unique postal cancel developed by our show artist along with three unique caches, which are available for purchase. The artist will be available to sign on Saturday. Those who are philatelists, collectors, or have any interest in this hobby, this is one show each year that is an absolute must to attend. See you at the show!
Show hours are 10-6 Friday and Saturday, and 10-3 on Sunday. Admission is $5, which is good for all 3 days and those under 16 are free. Parking is free for the show.
