St. David’s HealthCare partners with Leander and Kyle Police Departments for National Prescription D
St. David’s HealthCare, which provides care to more Central Texans than any other healthcare system, is partnering with the Leander Police Department, Kyle Police Department, and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to provide a medication disposal site on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Participants can safely dispose of controlled and uncontrolled substances, over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, creams, non-aerosol sprays, vials and pet medications. Used needles and other sharps will not be accepted. All accepted medications will be properly destroyed.
