Spring Paper Shredding Event at Pfitzner Stadium
The Prince William County Solid Waste Division will hold a free document shredding event on Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until trucks reach capacity. The event is located at Pfitzner Stadium parking lot, 7 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, Va., and is for residents only and unavailable for businesses and commercial patrons.
Only confidential documents such as bank statements and tax returns will be accepted. Removal of regular-sized paper clips and staples is not required.
Any non-confidential documents, such as junk mail, should be recycled inside a curbside recycling bin for collection or taken to the Landfill, Freestate Farms Compost Facility Customer Convenience Center, or one of the recycling drop-off trailers throughout the county. 
Residents may bring up to four medium-sized boxes no bigger than 18 inches by 12 inches by 15 inches of paper for shredding on-site at no charge.
Before coming to the shred location, residents must securely place and cover any documents in the rear of their trunk, hatchback, or truck bed to avoid creating litter on county roadways.
Once at the location, customers must stay in their vehicles and may only dispose of their documents once it is their turn for service.
