Spring Break Round Up: Building the West
THURSDAY: Families are invited to drop by the Briscoe and build a Native American home or village found in the West using recyclable and found materials. Find inspiration by exploring the museum’s collection of Native American paintings and sculptures. Build a teepee, longhouse, wigwam, or other types of Native American homes and shelters. Take your home creation to your home!
FRIDAY: Families are invited to produce a short stop-motion video featuring the Alamo, a train station, or other Western scenes found in the Briscoe’s collection – all created out of LEGOs! Get imaginative at the LEGO creation station and build your own scenes. Create your video on your phone or device to take with you and share with us online.
