Spotlight Comedy at Spotlight Cinemas
Spotlight Comedy Night is a new monthly comedy show featuring some of the best comedians around, and it's happening at Spotlight Cinemas on St. Andrews Rd. That's right! The 2nd Thursday of each month we're turning a movie theater into a comedy club, making it the funniest room in Columbia. In addition to an outstanding comedy show, your ticket also includes an open bar with beer and wine which is why this is a 21+ event. You'll also be able to buy snacks and soft drinks at the concession stand. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts promptly at 7:30pm
This month's featured comedian is Spencer Bland. Spencer is a comedian, writer, and podcaster that wants you to know that his last name has no effect on his humor. He's a regular host and feature at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh, NC where he produces Raleigh's longest running monthly comedy show in Neptunes Comedy and is a cohost of the Bop or Flop Podcast which has received over 100,000 downloads since starting in December of 2020.
A featured performer in the 2023 Sno Jam Comedy Festival, he was also featured in last year's Omaha Comedy Fest, Four Corners Comedy Festival, Portland Maine Comedy Festival, Sac Town Comedy Get Down, North Carolina Comedy Festival, and Bull City Comedy Fest.

In addition to Spencer, the show will also feature other performers to be announced later.
