Spirits of the Past: A Family Día de los Muertos Celebration
Celebrate Día de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) with a lively and colorful free family event at Westfield Garden State Plaza. You’ll discover the rich history and meaning behind this beloved Mexican cultural holiday with heartwarming stories about ancestors and the special ways we honor and remember our loved ones.
Performers will light up the stage with vibrant costumes, beautifully painted faces, and energetic dances, all accompanied by the joyful sounds of a traditional mariachi band. Children will have the opportunity to sing along with familiar favorites from films like Coco and The Book of Life, adding a fun and emotional touch to this unforgettable celebration for the whole family!
The performance lasts for approximately 30 minutes followed by a costume character meet and greet, and photo opportunity! The show will take place at 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
