Dempsey and Lincoln Hills Cares Foundation to celebrate the beautiful history of one of Colorado's first Black churches. Spirit at the Mountaintop is a documentary directed and produced by Adam M. Dempsey to tell the local story of Shorter AME Church. Following the documentary, History Colorado's own Terri Gentry will moderate a discussion with Adam M. Dempsey and Terry Nelson to dive deeper into the historical and current importance of Black churches in Black culture.
