Bruce Chester:
portrays Sgt William Harvey Carney of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Civil War Regiment. Most famous for rescuing the American flag after the color bearer fell and heroically carrying it forward despite being wounded multiple times, he was the first African American awarded the Medal of Honor.
