Soul & Ice
Wollman Rink, in partnership with James Beard-nominated Chef Melba Wilson, is proud to present Soul & Ice, a fundraising skate night on Tuesday, March 3 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Taking place at the iconic Wollman Rink, the evening will feature skating accompanied by live DJ sets and a special Melba’s menu available at the rink for one night only, all in the heart of Central Park.
DJ SmooveSki, DJ Webstar and DJ Chip will be spinning classic hip-hop and R&B tracks—a fitting soundtrack to a special “Taste of Melba’s” dish featuring Melba’s signature slow roasted chicken served with low country collard greens, A$AP yams, and tres mac and cheese. Tickets are available at $20 for admission and can be purchased HERE, with skate rentals offered separately. A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will benefit Graham-Windham, supporting efforts to fight food insecurity and help feed New York City’s most vulnerable public school children.
