Songwriters Tribute to Nanci Griffith
Nanci Griffith left us in 2021 with a legacy of songwriting and showmanship. From farm roots just outside Austin to entrancing small listening audiences in Houston to big-label action in Nashville to five straight nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London, it was all powered by her love of the song, songwriting and songwriters. Noted songs she wrote or fostered include "Love at the Five & Dime," "Outbound Plane," "Ford Econoline" and "From a Distance."
