Song Writers’ Workshop with Joe Buchanan
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for experienced songwriters wanting to learn different approaches and techniques. Non-experienced songwriters are welcome to register if wanting to observe and learn more about the process.
Participants are encouraged to bring their instrument if they would like, but it is not necessary.
Staff and notepaper, pencils, and water, will be provided. Instruments, including piano, will not be available.
A boxed lunch from a local highly rated deli or cafe will be provided if purchased in advance. The lunch caterer and 2-3 menu choices will be sent via email on April 9. The caterer will be posted once confirmed. A boxed lunch can be purchased later after registration.
Itinerary/Schedule:
10am - 12pm: songwriting session/class & song circle with Joe Buchanan
12pm - 1pm: lunch break
1 - 2pm: breakout room/group sessions
2 - 3pm: participant optional open mic with peer review
