SocialWorks Youth OpenMike Event at WNDR Museum
SocialWorks, the nonprofit founded by Grammy-award-winning musician and humanitarian Chance The Rapper, will host the December edition of its longstanding OpenMike event at WNDR Museum for young creators (ages 14-24) to share and express ideas while networking amongst peers and professionals across the city to accomplish creative goals.
OpenMike is a non-competitive space that randomly showcases selected artists to present a 3-minute piece of their choice. After the student performances conclude, OpenMike brings professionals, celebrities, and arts advocates to perform, teach, and inspire, sharing their creative process and pieces of their choosing. Entry is free and attendees get to explore WNDR's 20+ interactive installations to draw inspiration from throughout the event.
