SNOWFLAKE 5K and REMEMBRANCE WEEKEND (Dylan and Gavin's Rainbow 501(c)3 organization)

Registration for RUN/WALK is the only required fee/reservation (early registration until 11/14 is $30; same day registration is $35) which includes food and drinks after the race, goodie bags and t-shirts while supplies last-all other activities-everyone welcome to purchase food and/or raffle tickets and join in on our strong sense of community! In conjunction with Worldwide Children's Remembrance Day (always the 2nd Sunday of December,) we bring awareness to the difficulty of missing children who have died, every day...and in more intense ways during the holiday season. We also focus on remembering all who we love and miss. DYLAN AND GAVIN'S RAINBOW is a 501(c)3 organization that was established in memory of two sons who both fought short and fierce pediatric cancer battles, two years apart from each other. Our mission is to reach out to families who are in the midst of their own battle with a serious childhood condition, as well as to families who have experienced child loss. A Children's Remembrance Service is also offered on Sunday, December 10, beginning at 6:30 pm at Zion UCC-2nd and Iron Streets in Lehighton. We invite family and friends to join together in lighting a candle to remember all children who have died...no matter the age, no matter the cause, no matter how long ago. Missing a dear child, or children, is a struggle every single day, and the holiday season brings many more intense emotions. We want all families to know that they are not alone, and that WE REMEMBER THEM
