Snow Queen Ballet


More than 60 Studio 3 dancers, ages 3 through 17, began rehearsing in July for two magical performances of the Snow Queen ballet at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson: • Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 p.m. • Sunday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and are available online through the Eisemann Ticket center (www.eisemanncenter.com) or in the box office lobby. The Snow Queen performance is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes including one intermission. Order 10 or more group tickets at the discounted price of $18 each by contacting Eisemann Group Sales at https://www.eisemanncenter.com/GroupSales. “This is our 26th season here in Plano and our 8th production of the Snow Queen,” said Brenda Wilder, Studio 3 Dance Owner and Director. “We are excited as ever to share this ballet and our extremely talented dancers with the community.” Sally Johnson, ballet instructor and former professional ballet dancer, serves at the choreographer and Brenda Wilder, Studio 3 Dance owner, directs the production. The 2023 production the The Snow Queen features accomplished soloists from area high schools including: • Snow Queen – Madison Smith, Plano West Senior High School junior • Gerda – Amelia Mappus, Ursuline Academy of Dallas senior • Kaye – Eva Strauser, Plano Senior High School junior • Royal Princess – Olivia Kubehl, Shepton High School sophomore • Spanish Princess – Molly Sorrels, Vines High School sophomore • Indian Princess – Valeri Eliason, R.L. Turner High School senior • Firebird – Mia Shabnov, Clark High School sophomore • Snowflake Princess – Brooklyn Vinson, Theo Solution High School junior • Magician – Quinn Weems, Schimelpfenig Middle School 8th grader About Studio 3 Dance: Studio 3 Dance offers a diverse schedule of dance classes for children ages 18 months and up. Our dancers go beyond technique and poise to develop important life skills – learning to be respectful, confident and conscientious young people.
