Sketch, Draw, Paint: Floral Designs Workshop
During this outside adventure, participants will experience sketching a self-selected view of the outdoors. During this all-day session, participants will create two works of art: a table decoration, wreath, or wall hanging with real flowers, AND a painting or drawing. Using real flowers and other elements, participants will create their own floral decoration. After creating their one-of-a-kind 3-dimensional decoration, participants will use the item as a still life to create a drawing or painting. Multiple media will be available such as drawing pencils, colored pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, and watercolor. Teens aged 14+ also welcome. Please bring a lunch.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Classes meet at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
