Shell Builders Workshop with Salem Sound Coastwatch
Engineer a super-strong "shell" dome using shapes and simple materials, then load-test it to see how much it can hold. Investigate real snail, mussel and oyster shells at the touch tank and discover how shell shape and structure protect animals from waves and predators.
This program is limited to 10 students ages 8-12, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/June-2026-shells.
