Shawna Virago is one of America’s first openly transgender women to tour nationally, performing as her true self since the early nineties. She best known for her firebrand fusion of punk and country and is celebrated as the voice of a generation who existed long before celebrities, the Internet, and the media started making all things queer or transgender a rising trend. The fairy godmother of trans country artists, Virago writes and performs a potent mix of folk, alt-country, and punk that grew out of the crucible of eighties LA cowpunk.

WILEY GABY
Brooklyn-based, Florida-born Wiley Gaby (formerly Goldenchild) writes heartfelt hurtin’ songs and delivers them with tear-stained, emotional vocals—exploring “balladeer vulnerability and melodrama by swelling into high notes and emoting with sly finesse” (NPR Music).

ACACIA FORGOT
Acacia Forgot, who is based in Los Angeles, coasts through life’s highs and lows through the eyes of traditional country/folk music, bringing bursts of joy and laughter to an, otherwise, melancholy tune. Debuting their first EP, “I Only Cry Rhinestones”, Acacia is planning a 2024 full of new music and breathing new life into the world of country music.
