The San Francisco Wine School is coming to Los Angeles! California Wine Appellation Specialist® (CWAS) is the first and only in-depth professional certification dedicated to California wine. CWAS® was pioneered by Master Sommelier and Certified Wine Educator David Glancy in 2012 and has since earned the support and recognition of Wine Institute and grower associations throughout the state. Whether you're a wine professional or a serious enthusiast, join us as we explore California's rich wine history and diverse geography, climate, grape varietals and wine styles in two unique offerings.
Our founder David Glancy, MS, CWE will be instructing this course with special guest instructor Chris Miller, MS, and two special guests: Wes Hagen from Clos Pepe and Clarissa Nagy from Riverbench.
You'll receive 22 hours of instruction, blind taste over 60 wines, and expand your personal and professional network. Breakfast and lunch are included, and we have a special tasting dinner at The Royce | Wood-Fired Steakhouse available on Saturday.
