Sensory-Friendly Saturdays at the Historic New Orleans Collection are mornings of exploration and hands-on learning for neurodiverse guests and their families. Whether you like art, history, museums, or mysteries, there’s something fun for everyone on Sensory-Friendly Saturdays!
On Saturday, July 20, guests will visit HNOC's newest interactive exhibit, Unknown Sitters. After touring the exhibition, guests can try out some hands-on portrait activities. Transform yourself into a portrait from history using a collection of props and frames. Draw a sketch of someone or have someone make a sketch of you.
The event is open to individuals of all ages who would benefit from a low-sensory museum experience. Sensory Friendly Saturdays at HNOC are FREE, however, RSVPs are recommended.
