The best screenwriters know that action narrative has its own voice that gives readers a way to see your film vision. To see it without the intrusion of camera moves is to use a gem-like combination of nouns, adjectives, adverbs and most critically, active verbs.
This 4-week workshop will be held in person at OSU-Tulsa on the following Wednesdays: 2/21, 2/28, 3/6, and 3/13/2024 from 7-9pm.
Featuring Instructor: Michael Wright
Michael Wright retired form the University of Tulsa in 2018 and has continued to offer workshops through OSU. He earned his MFA from Tulane University. Michael is extensively published and his novels include Down the Ocean: Summer of '64, The Chessmen, In the Air (The Baltimore Trilogy).
He has also written a number of books on screenwriting and playwriting: Sensory Writing for Stage and Screen; Playwriting Master Class, Playwriting at Work and Play. He is a Teacher/Facilitator at Saturday Screenwriters, and PLOT (Playwrights Lab of Tulsa).
