This magical stretch of beach is one of our very favorite spots to set the table, and it’s always an adventure. The rising tide inching up towards our seats. The shared excitement of passing dolphins, pelicans and whales. Whatever happens, our plates will be filled with fresh fish caught just beyond our seats, expertly prepared by Greg Kuzia-Carmel from Menlo Park’s Camper & Canteen. He’s braving the beach kitchen for the second year in a row, and last year’s poetic menu was one of our favorites of the season. Our good friend and fisherman Hans Havemen will be there to talk us through the day’s catch. You may even find him foraging for sea kelp and passing it down the table.
