Second Saturday at the Bachmann
The 1753 Bachmann Publick House will be open for tours and special programs on the second Saturday of each month.
Join us for tours of this lovely colonial tavern led by costumed docents. These Saturday programs will feature unique historical programs for the whole family.
Admission is free, but donations are always welcome!
On Saturday, November 11, in honor of Veterans’ Day, join our docents for a display of colonial militiamen gear and accoutrements. What would the average soldier during the Revolutionary War have carried in his kit? What was daily life like the in the militia encampments? What equipment and tools would you have needed to survive during a military campaign in the 1770s?
