Second Calvary Baptist Church Choir Clinic
Second Calvary will be hosting a Choir Clinic on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Registration is $20 and will include the cost of music, a light breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The clinic will be led by Dr. Elizabeth Mears of Forest Lake Presbyterian Church who will engage with various styles of worship music to include anthems and contemporary gospel themed for the Easter season. The juxtaposition of music is something that will increase your choir's repertoire and worship services.There will be sessions on the importance of music to the church service, the basics of reading music, blending voices, and more. Choirs are encouraged to attend together (although not required) regardless of the skill level. Check-in and breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the clinic will begin at 9:00 a.m. We will break for lunch around 11:30 a.m. and plan to finish around 3:30 p.m.
