08/31/2024 10:00 AM 08/31/2024 02:00 PM America/Anguilla Sea Scout Ship Open House Sea Scout Ship 886 is holding an open house for youth to come and learn about Sea Scouts, BSA in the Jacksonville Area and how they can join the fun. Our Sea Scouts go snorkeling, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming...and that's just the water based fun. Join up to go to Gainesville for training in water sports while camping. We are headed to Jupiter to learn some more, and visit Blue Heron Bridge (a national marine treasure and snorkeling trail), then we are off to swim with the Manatees in the winter. No experience necessary, we can teach you all the rest. Our ship works in Partnership with the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14-02, All Sea Scouts are eligible to join...
