Unleash your creativity in this two-part workshop that blends sculpture and textile art! Day one, sculpt a unique form—abstract, whimsical, or character-inspired—using simple materials and guided techniques. Day two, learn to transform your design into a sewing pattern, then cut, stitch, and fit a custom fabric “skin” over your creation.
No prior sewing or sculpting experience is needed—just bring your imagination. By the end, you’ll walk away with a one-of-a-kind fiber-based sculpture that combines form and fabric in unexpected ways. All supplies included in class fee. Teens 14+ are also welcome.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Classes meet at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
