This event has been our troop's key fundraiser for 21⁄2 decades. This is a fun, family friendly event which exclusively supports the learning & outdoor adventures of Scouts ages 11-18 within our immediate community. The Train Show is open to the public (RAIN OR SHINE) and it's a fun event for all ages, whether you’re a Model Railroading enthusiast, collector, hobbyist, or a spectator.     Scout Troop 964 is hosting its 26th Annual Model Train Show & Railroading Merit Badge Workshop event to be held at Lake Ridge Middle School in Woodbridge, VA on March 7 & 8,2026. This event has been our troop's key fundraiser for 21⁄2 decades. This is a fun, family friendly event which exclusively supports the learning & outdoor adventures of Scouts ages 11-18 within our immediate community. The Train Show is open to the public (RAIN OR SHINE) and it's a fun event for all ages, whether you’re a Model Railroading enthusiast, collector, hobbyist, or a spectator. Model Train Show features DCC-HO layout with 114± modules, including Z/N/S/O/G Gauge, Steam, Lego layouts & Operation Life Saver. You can purchase train show admission tickets online or at the door. If you know a Scout who may be interested in taking the Railroading Merit Badge, please share this opportunity with them, registration is currently open. The Railroading Merit Badge workshop is open to interested BSA Scouts from our NCAC region and beyond; you are welcome join us for this event. This is a great interactive workshop, as the event allows Scouts to move from one segment to another covering badge requirements in a group setting. Countless scouts in the past have reported that this is a fun merit badge experience. The workshop itself usually fills up fast; so, don't wait!
