School of Rock San Ramon Grand Re-Opening
After 11 successful years of inspiring local musicians, School of Rock San Ramon is expanding into a larger, upgraded facility designed to better serve its growing student community and provide more opportunities for young musicians to learn, perform and thrive.
The school will celebrate its new location at 165 Market Pl, San Ramon, CA with a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, August 29 from 1 PM to 5 PM, inviting students, families and members of the community to experience the new facility and celebrate the next chapter of School of Rock San Ramon.
The Grand Re-Opening will feature live student performances, facility tours, activities, food and beverages, along with opportunities for prospective students and their families to meet School of Rock instructors. Interested students can also participate in mini music lessons and even perform during the event, offering a firsthand look at the school's performance-based approach to music education.
For the past 11 years, School of Rock San Ramon has helped more than 3,000 local students develop their musical talents. But the school's mission extends far beyond learning how to play an instrument.
“School of Rock is about so much more than music,” said John Baker, School of Rock San Ramon owner/director. “Our students learn how to perform, collaborate and lead, but they also gain confidence, make lifelong friendships and discover what they are capable of. This new facility gives us the opportunity to build on everything we've accomplished over the past 11 years and serve even more students in our community.”
Through its performance-based model, School of Rock combines music instruction with real-world experience on stage. Students learn to work as a team, take responsibility, overcome challenges and support one another while developing their individual musical abilities. Its approach is proven to build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. An independent study* found that after joining their programs, 96.2% of parents saw a boost in their child’s self-confidence and 95.9% reported improved teamwork skills.
The new, larger location reflects the continued growth of School of Rock San Ramon and its commitment to providing an exceptional music education experience for students of all skill levels.
