Known for her signature chanting style, Sister Carol is one of the most enduring female reggae artists over the last 40 years. An electrifying, Grammy-nominated performer, she is affectionately known as "Mother Culture" and "The Black Cinderella," which is also the name of her record label. In the past forty years, she has produced nineteen albums full of heartfelt conscious roots, and has toured the globe. Her recent collaborations include “World Needs Love” with Marcia Griffiths, and “My Jamaica” with Nakeeba Amaniyea. In addition to her musical career, Sister Carol has appeared in several movies, directed by the late Jonathan Demme, including Something Wild, Married to the Mob, Rachel’s Getting Married, and Ricki And The Flash. She has raised four children, and has twelve grandchildren, and lives in Jamaica.

DJ Sep is a long-time Bay Area DJ/producer, and the founder of Dub Mission, one of the longest-running Reggae clubs in the world (1996-2019). She spins dub, reggae, dancehall, bass, Jungle/DnB, and Afrobeats. Sep has spun at festivals and clubs in Spain, the U.K., Canada, Mexico, many cities in the U.S., and most clubs in the greater Bay Area, and has presented and opened for a long list of reggae and electronic artists.
