Sarasota Jazz Festival presents the world renowned trumpeter Arturo Sandoval
Cuban-American jazz trumpeter, pianist, timbalero, and composer, Arturo Sandoval is a world renowned musician. He is a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, 10 time Grammy Award winner, Emmy award recipient, and 6 time Billboard award winner. Sandoval’s career is a mosaic of brilliant performances, collaborations, and accolades. He is renowned for his virtuosic skills in both jazz and classical genres. His music transcends cultural barriers, blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with elements of bebop and modern jazz. Opening the final evening of the Jazz Festival is Michael Ross and the SRQ All Star Band featuring some of the musicians in the Bay area.
