San Francisco Pride Band presents A Wicked Dance-Along Nutcracker
Kick off the holiday season with the San Francisco Pride Band at A Wicked Dance-Along Nutcracker! It’s the Stahlbaum’s Annual Holiday Party, and Uncle Drosselmeyer weaves a tale for Clara and Fritz about a legendary School for Holiday Magic. Madam Sugarplum rules the school with an iron fist, imposing limits and restrictions on the student body under the direction of the Great and Powerful Nutcracker. Can Mac, a new student with unusual rat-like features, learn to work with his bubbly dormmate Ross to save the school and the holidays?
Established 40 years ago in 1985, the Dance-Along Nutcracker blends Tchaikovsky's classic ballet music with a unique theme to create a clever original musical production. In this year's show, audience members will experience what happens when the beloved music and story from Wicked, the Wizard of Oz, and The Wiz comes together with Tchaikovsky’s most famous work: The Nutcracker.
