Route 66 Centennial Presentation: Why Turn Left at Albuquerque?
From Coronado's expedition and Oñate's El Camino Real to Becknell's Santa Fe Trail, early routes led to Old Town, while the railroad and Route 66 later cemented Albuquerque's significance in the American Southwest.
