Alice is finally ready to tell her parents that she’s lesbian, when her partner, Fiona, says “I just want to stop trying to be a woman.”  Fiona is going to transition – she will become Adrian, a trans man.  Adrian does not want to leave Alice – Alice is expected to change from being in love with a woman to being in love with a man.  Does that mean Alice has to become straight?  Or is Alice already straight, because she’s in love with someone who is really a man?
