"Rone: L(oo)ping" at SF Dance Film Festival 2024
SF Dance Film Festival presents the World Festival Premiere of this unique dance film centered on a sweeping orchestral-electronic performance led by acclaimed French musician Rone. Narrative dance vignettes bring the dramatic musical score to life with captivating cinematography from Lyon’s grand concert hall. Dancers portray a playful usher, a wistful musician, and a handful of audience members who are each transported by the performance into the inner worlds of their psyches, just as Rone himself journeys from creative spark to full-scale performance.
