Rom-Com Drive-In Double Feature with LV BookFest AND special guest author Timothy Janovsky
Shankweiler's Drive-In Theater is teaming up with Let's Play Books in Emmaus to bring an amazing extension of Lehigh Valley BookFest 2023! Join us at the drive-in for a special rom-com double feature of SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE & WHEN HARRY MET SALLY.
We will be joined by author Timothy Janovsky; a queer, multidisciplinary storyteller based in DC. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College and a self-appointed certificate in rom-com studies (accreditation pending). When he's not daydreaming about young Hugh Grant, he's telling jokes, playing characters, and writing books. His first novel, Never Been Kissed, draws inspiration from our historic theater, so we couldn't be more excited to host him and bring a little piece of his story to life!
Timothy has another title out in August – New Adult – that can be preorderd now!
We'll also be doing a BOOK DRIVE for LV READS. Bring a new, unused book to donate and receive a free small popcorn!

You can always purchase tickets at our box office night-of-show, but we encourage you to purchase advance tickets, especially if you are coming from a distance. Our concession stand will be open with a full menu of great things to eat and drink, including the best popcorn and hot cocoa in the valley!
