Explore the songs of the 1920's and 1930's with local musician and musicologist, Dr. Robert Rawlins. Author of "Tunes of the Twenties and All That Jazz", "Jazzology" and a Revision of Alec Wilder's "American Popular Song", Dr. Rawlins will present stories behind popular tunes of the 1920's and 1930's. He will be joined by Dr. Nancy Rawlins to perform the music to accompany the stories. The program begins at 3:00 pm, and will be followed by refreshments in the social hall.
