Roanoke Hospitality Opens the 101 Room, An Upscale American Grill on the 20th Floor of 101 E. Erie

Roanoke Hospitality presents the 101 Room, located on the 20th floor of 101 E. Erie, specializing in American favorites including steaks, chops, fresh seafood and upscale comfort food, all impeccably prepared with the highest quality fresh ingredients. The restaurant is led by Executive Chef Khellil Abderazak, trained in Europe and formerly of the Four Seasons Hotel and the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Abderazak also served for many years as the Executive Chef of the acclaimed Deerpath Inn in Lake Forest. The 101 Room's bar will offer signature crafted cocktails and a variety of single malt scotches. The highly anticipated restaurant will open on Oct. 15. This opening will mark the third 101 Club branded space in this venue, which includes sister properties the 101 Sky Terrace Rooftop Deck and the 101 Club Patio, the latter serving Mediterranean cuisine. The 101 Room’s service will be crisp, professional, and fun and the vibe will be sophisticated, yet relaxed and cozy. A live jazz trio will perform on Friday and Saturday nights in their intimate setting. The venue overlooks the city’s skyline and features breathtaking views of Michigan Avenue. The design is Mid-century modern. Wood and leather accents, white tablecloths and low lighting bring warmth to the space and provide a warm contrast to the views of the Chicago skyline at night. The 101 Room will also host a night of mystery and allure at their exclusive Masquerade Ball on Friday, October 25th from 8PM-12AM. Guests will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres; and experience interactive cocktail stations, a seafood tower and large charcuterie display and full bar; and enjoy live band entertainment to fuel a night of dancing and fun. Tickets are available through OpenTable and are $120 per guest. Cocktail attire and masquerade masks are required. Guests can anticipate a thrilling rotation of instrumental musicians at the 101 Room on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm-9pm. Some of the musicians include, Angela Spiccia known for her jazz performances that have established her as a performer in the city and Chicago-based singer Sam Fazio, who specializes in a unique mix of jazz and pop and has been named one of the “three greatest vocalists in Chicago”. The 101 Room will also bring guests more fun this holiday season, with a Holiday Brunch with Santa offered throughout December. The Holiday Brunch will feature live carving and egg stations, seafood towers, fresh pastries and a dessert station. With a menu ranging from shareable small plates to soups, salads, hearth-baked flatbreads, handhelds and seafood-centric entrees, the 101 Patio Bar and Grill blends Mediterranean-style techniques, ingredients and cuisines to offer an ever-refreshing, whimsical experience during every visit. 101 Patio Bar and Grill is open seven days per week from 11am-11pm for lunch, dinner and late-night service, with a brunch experience available on weekends.   The third venue in the 101 Club, 101 Sky Terrace, features a spacious rooftop lounge staring out over Chicago’s stunning skyline.
