Riscky's BBQ 20th Annual Rib-Eating Competition
Riscky's Barbeque -- the legendary 99-year-old Fort Worth smokehouse -- hosts its 20th annual Rib-Eating Competition at Stockyards Station. Up to 30 contestants race to eat as many Riscky's beef ribs as possible in 60 seconds, competing for bragging rights and prizes in one of the Stockyards' most anticipated summer traditions. Contestant entry is $5, and the contest is free for spectators to watch. The competition takes place during the National Day of the American Cowboy festivities, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
