FeedRI will host its inaugural Field to Fork Farmers Market, bringing together more than a dozen Rhode Island farms with local chefs, restaurants and culinary partners for an evening of locally inspired tastings. Proceeds from the event will support FeedRI’s Feed the Future school pantry program, which currently serves more than 3,500 Rhode Islanders at 21 local schools.
Guests can sample small bites made with locally grown ingredients while exploring the Johnson & Wales University Culinary Arts Museum, a rarely accessible-to-the-public gem featuring historic menus, rare cookbooks, vintage culinary equipment, and other artifacts celebrating the evolution of food and hospitality.
Featured pairings include Under the Sun Farm and Chef Jason Authier; Brandon Family Farm and Sarcastic Sweets; Lucky Dogs Farm and Pianta; Franklin Farm and Johnson & Wales University; Walrus & Carpenter Oysters and Paula’s; Wright’s Dairy Farm and Big Feeling; Ocean State Shellfish Cooperative and Little Sister; Radical Roots Farm and Waterman Grille; and Growing Hope Farm and Sprout & Lentil, among others.
Advance tickets are available now for $60 on FeedRI’s secure online ticket page. Student and senior tickets for guests ages 65 and older are available for $30. Day-of tickets will be $80.
