Rhode Island Parkinson's Community Walk
Join us for the inaugural Rhode Island Parkinson's Community Walk, a free event dedicated to bringing together individuals living with Parkinson's disease, caregivers, families, friends, healthcare professionals, and supporters.
Following my father's Parkinson's diagnosis, I wanted to create a welcoming event where people could connect with others who understand the journey, discover local resources, and experience the strength of community.
The morning will include:
• Registration beginning at 9:00 AM
• Welcome and warm-up at 10:00 AM
• An accessible community walk
• Local Parkinson's organizations and community resource tables
• Raffle prizes and opportunities to connect with others
Whether you've recently been diagnosed, have been living with Parkinson's for years, care for someone with Parkinson's, or simply want to support the community, everyone is welcome.
Admission is free, but registration is encouraged.
