Return to Blue Water Book Reading and Panel Discussion
The Sailing Museum & National Sailing Hall of Fame will host a special reading from Return to Blue Water, a new book about the famous 1930 yawl Dorade, her designers, and her current owners. The program will feature Olympic medalist and Dorade crewmember Pamela Healy, a friend of the book’s late author, Pam Rorke Levy. Healy and other members of the Dorade crew will discuss the book, the yacht, the author, and Dorade’s remarkable story—from her 1930s victories under Olin and Rod Stephens to the 2012–2015 campaign that recreated her greatest bluewater achievements.
