With Social Security, healthcare, and rising costs in the news, many families are unsure how to plan for retirement without putting financial or emotional strain on their loved ones.
On March 26, three local professionals are hosting a free community event in St. Petersburg to walk through the three decisions people nearing retirement can’t afford to get wrong: when to take Social Security, how to prepare for long-term care, and how to plan ahead for final arrangements.
The goal is simple—help people avoid costly mistakes and make informed decisions before they’re forced to make them under pressure.
Speakers include a Registered Social Security Analyst, an elder law attorney, and a third-generation funeral director and U.S. Navy veteran.
Free admission. Breakfast and refreshments provided. Seating is limited.
