Reception for "The Accokeek Artists Alliance Exhibit"
Mattawoman Creek Art Center (MCAC) is pleased to announce the “The Accokeek Artists Alliance 2023 Collective Exhibit and Sale” running from March 17 through April 16, 2023. Come view a stunning array created by our neighbors on the Potomac, members of the Accokeek Artists Alliance, and bring home the work of a skilled local artist to add to your personal collection! A reception will be held on Sunday, March 19th from 1 – 4 p.m. with light refreshments. A concert and book signing by Lynn Hollyfield will be held on March 26 from 2:30-3:30.
MCAC now has an additional gallery in the area of the docent’s desk. It features the works of one of MCAC’s members. It is a bonus when you come to see the any show. The current show is Mary Kercher’s watercolor and oil paintings. Artwork purchased in the Member Gallery may be taken when purchased.
Mattawoman Creek Art Center is located in the General Smallwood State Park in Marbury, Maryland, and is open from 11:00 to 4:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Park entry fee is waived for Art Center visitors. If you have questions, please call 301-743-5159 or email [email protected].
