Reception: Carole Rosefelt's Bold Abstracts
This month's featured artist, Carole Rosefelt, has been making art for over 70 years. These large bold canvases are a slice from her artistic life and make up contemporary abstracts in acrylic and ink. The themes explore geometric composition with a touch of nature in mostly red, yellow, and turquoise.
Carole is a well-known teacher, mentor, and jeweler, as well as a talented painter. She is beloved by her students and fellow artists. Celebrate her achievements at the opening reception for her "Bold Abstracts" exhibit February 10 from 5 to 9 pm during St. Pete's Second Saturday Art Walk and throughout the month at St. Pete ArtWorks. Listen to music by Berkeley Grimball and enjoy refreshments while mingling with Carole and the other gallery artists. The reception is free and open to the public.
